Environmental Management Policy

RTW is committed to protecting the environment in which it operates and has an extensive management system in place to ensure it is integrated in all parts of its business operations.
 
The policy includes:
  • Abiding by all relevant laws, Acts, Regulations and Standards.
  • Planning, developing, implementing and monitoring relevant procedures and standards to minimise any unfavourable environmental impact that may result from business activities.
  • A commitment to working towards and aligning business management systems with the ISO: 14001.2004 Standards for best practice Environmental Management.
  • Encouraging employees to develop a sense of responsibility for the protection of the environment.
  • Ensuring employees are informed of the policy and aware of their environmental responsibilities and requirement to comply as part of their role at RTW Steel Fabrication & Construction.
 
Health and Safety Policy

Health and Safety is an integral part of RTW's business operations.

RTW believes no business priority comes before safety. Employees are expected to strive to continually improve systems and processes and identify, assess and manage hazards and risks to achieve Zero Harm.

Business activities and safety procedures are continually monitored and assessed and beneficial changes are implemented when needed.
RTW's safety management system has been aligned to meet the requirements of the AS/NZS: 4801.2001, (WHS) National Harmonisation Legislation Model Act, Regulations, Standards and Codes of Practice.

RTW expects all employees to accept responsibility for their actions, report unsafe acts and working conditions and behave in a manner that reflects safe work practices and standards.
