RTW offers a complete and diverse range of services that cater for all commercial and industrial situations:

RTW has a functional and well equipped workshop with a capacity to process large volumes of steel fabrication in short periods of time. Over 1300 square metres of workshop floor space gives us the capacity to handle projects that require large set up areas. Our 2 all directional overhead gantries extend into a truck loading/unloading bay providing direct entry into the workshop to ease handling operation.
Work carried out in our workshop is done under strict supervision and safety management. The safety and well being of our people is of the highest value to us.
Our workshop area is complimented by 3 acres of lay down and storage area. Large erection projects can be fabricated, erected and if required, test run before final transport and erection on site.

Training and Education is undertaken on a continual basis to ensure we are current with our qualification.
We also have through our specialized welding workshop; over 50 specific weld procedures which are registered and approved and can be applied to many situations. Check out FWF Welding Services for more info in this area.

Processing of plates including cutting, rolling, pressing, guillotining and notching is all carried out in house with our modern equipment. Our guillotine has a capacity of 4 metres x 16mm, plate rolls 3 metres x 16mm, automatic cut off saw that will chew through 350mm pipe and work by itself into the night, all complimented by a 300 tonne x 4.5 metre press brake and a 115 tonne notching machine.

RTW can provide a team for planned maintenance outage on 24 hour roster or routine daily checks and site maintenance carried out on a regular basis. Our team is qualified, experienced and supervision and management is supplied if required.

RTW has been involved in the steel erection and construction of many industrial and commercial projects of note in the South West. Extensions and modifications to the Bunbury Senior High School, Steel work for the new National Bank in Bunbury, the Justice Centre in Albany, Woodchip Processing Facility also in Albany and Iluka’s new mine at Jacinth Ambrosia in South Australia are just part of a long list of projects we have been involved in. In all cases, the quality of our work and safety record in performing the work has been of the highest quality.
Our site crew has established themselves as a competent and versatile team with a willingness to take on new and exciting ventures that covers all aspects of steel erection and construction.

RTW has a crew available for carpentry and grano work including set up and pouring of concrete footings for commercial and industrial buildings, plant and equipment bases. Experienced and knowledgeable, the guys have formed a reputation of being reliable in performance and accuracy of work. The crew is aware of the often strict time frames required for this type of work and will ensure deadlines are adhered to.
Recent projects completed are casting floor repairs for Simcoa, footings, floors and drains for Skins Shed at V & V Walsh and fixing of roof cladding to Iluka’s new plant at Jacinth Ambrosia in South Australia.
