Sand Blasting & Painting

Capel Sandblasters are located in the Capel Light Industrial Area of Capel and provide quality grit blasting and industrial painting work at competitive prices, servicing predominately the industrial sector of the South West.

Basic work performed is usually to a specification of class 2.5 blast pattern, followed by a prime coat and a 1 or 2 top coat paint systems to specified Australian Standards. Thickness of the paint system can be as required up to 1,000 microns thickness with full application test results available.

Water Jet Blasting

The recent acquisition of our Aqua Miser Water Jet Blast Machine has expanded our capabilities allowing us to provide a more complete and versatile service. The Water Jet pressure can be controlled up to a capacity of 40,000 PSI, ensuring the integrity of the parent material is retained.

The trailer mounted machine is completely self contained and able to be lifted into tanks, plants and onto buildings for greater operating accessibility. The machine operates on minimal water and requires no containment for dust.

Water Jet Blaster has the capacity to wet sandblast, remove rubber, polyurethane linings from chutes, hoppers and vessels. Environmentally friendly with very little water used and easily contained. No dust containment required as with dry blasting. Adjustable pressure from 10,000 PSI to 40,000 PSI to suit the application.

• Concrete Scabbling, Etching and Profiling
• On-site blasting and painting. With the use of a rust retardant and inhibitor we can blast and paint in any situation. The inhibitor seals the surface from contaminants allowing painting to be effective and comply with specification for up to 3 days before paint is applied.
